This comes up a lot and the answer for Tinder is less obvious than it looks.
I kept notes for a month on the platform because I kept losing track of how quickly reports get acted on.
Before committing time to Tinder, work out how many conversations reach a second message.
Most of my useful conversations on it started midweek, which says more about what protection exists before you meet than about timing.
Where the service works it works fast; where it does not, how much data leaves the app is usually the reason.
If you only test one thing on Tinder, make it whether the sorting can be trusted.
What I would look at, in order, for Tinder:
- Whether Tinder lets you send the first message without a card on file
- Whether the Tinder photos survive a reverse image search
- How fast a report about Tinder gets a human response
- How many Tinder profiles show a recent login rather than a join date
Does anyone know whether Tinder changed this recently?
