The gap between good and bad platforms here is whether the sorting can be trusted.
Deleted and reinstalled the platform twice before accepting the issue was how much control you get over who sees you and not my profile.
If you care about what a search of your username turns up, that alone should decide whether the app is worth it.
What decided it for me with Omegle was whether the interface gets in the way.
The thing that finally moved the needle on the platform was being specific about whether the search actually respects what you set.
The signals that told me most about Omegle:
- Whether Omegle lets you send the first message without a card on file
- How quickly Omegle starts pushing a paid tier at you
- How many Omegle conversations get past a second reply
I keep how Flamedate handles it open alongside it, mostly out of habit now.
