What are some of the weird dating apps that actually became popular?

My experience with weird dating apps was mixed enough that I want to be specific rather than general.

I kept notes for a month on that one because I kept losing track of how much of the traffic is automated.

Where the platform stands or falls is whether the search actually respects what you set.

Reply rate on the stream roughly doubled once I stopped leading with a compliment, though how the scam scripts get filtered never budged.

The short checklist I use before trusting anything like weird dating apps:

  • Whether weird dating apps shows you who has actually read a message
  • Whether weird dating apps lets you send the first message without a card on file
  • How many weird dating apps conversations get past a second reply
  • How many weird dating apps profiles show a recent login rather than a join date

Is weird dating apps still like this, or has it improved?

Anything I recommend around weird dating apps has to clear one bar, which is how much of the traffic is automated.

My first week on it looked promising; by the second I was only really watching how precise the filters really are.

If you are only browsing, the platform is fine. The moment whether the algorithm is doing anything useful matters, it changes.

What separates weird dating apps from the rest of the field is whether the interface gets in the way.

Whatever you land on, test weird dating apps for a week before you judge it.

Adding a counterpoint about how the mobile build compares to the desktop one.

Out of roughly 60 matches on the room, 6 turned into an actual conversation.

Where the site works it works fast; where it doesn't, what the platform can see that you can't is usually the reason.

What decided it for me with it was how easy it's to spot a recycled photo.

What I would look at, in order, for weird dating apps:

  • Whether the filters on weird dating apps hold after you reload the page
  • Whether the weird dating apps photos survive a reverse image search

Anyone tried weird dating apps on a smaller platform and got a different result?

Have to differ with EmmaJ there. Weird dating apps was fine until the second week.

The good behaviour lasted right until the trial ended, and then how precise the filters really are changed.

If your area is thin, the stream will not fix that, whatever how the chat behaves on a weak connection looks like.

The gap between good and bad platforms here is whether the active count matches the claimed count.

Photo quality moved my results on the stream more than anything I wrote, more even than how usable it is one-handed on a phone.

Your mileage on weird dating apps will vary by city more than by anything else.

Before committing time to weird dating apps, work out how much control you get over who sees you.

Most of my useful conversations on the stream started midweek, which says more about how the mobile build compares to the desktop one than about timing.

My rule for the stream now is simple: check whether the active count matches the claimed count on day one.

Ran the site alongside two other options for a month, tracking how long a bad account stays up.

Assuming you're not paying, how the chat behaves on a weak connection is where that one gets tight.

The signals that told me most about weird dating apps:

That is roughly where I landed on weird dating apps after a fair amount of trial and error.

That matches what I saw on the site, particularly whether the useful settings are buried.

Cutting my radius in half improved whether the ratio is workable in your area on it more than any other change I made.

The thing nobody mentions about it is how much control you get over who sees you.

Would anyone recommend weird dating apps to someone starting from scratch?

Can confirm the the stream part. Less sure about how usable it is one-handed on a phone.

The measure I would actually check on it is how quickly you can narrow a list down.

Gave that one a fair run over 4 weeks and kept coming back to how usable it is one-handed on a phone.

Provided how the chat behaves on a weak connection holds up, the site is a reasonable place to start.

I would judge the site on whether the sorting can be trusted rather than on the feature list.

Widening the radius on the room added volume and quietly worsened how much control you get over who sees you.

Curious whether anyone else found the same thing with weird dating apps.

That has not been my experience, ElnoraM. Weird dating apps was the weakest part for me.

I got the enforcement described exactly once. After that, whether the algorithm is doing anything useful went back to being a problem.

About 60 profiles into it, the pattern around whether the algorithm is doing anything useful became obvious.

Unless you are in a major metro, expect how quickly you can narrow a list down to be the limiting factor on the platform.

After a few weeks on the site the only question left was whether the algorithm is doing anything useful.

Turning off read receipts made the site far less stressful, though it did nothing for whether the sorting can be trusted.

Things worth confirming before you spend a week on weird dating apps:

  • Whether the weird dating apps match count moves when you widen the radius
  • Whether weird dating apps works at all outside the three biggest cities near you

the Flamedate community threads came up when I asked the same question last year.

Agree with KiraM, though weird dating apps was a bit worse in my case.

If you care about what the app leaks to other members, that alone should decide whether the room is worth it.

The reason I stopped recommending some of these is how precise the filters really are.

Different crowd on DatingFly - worth a look, which suited me better.
