Going to push back on TrevorK here. That was not my experience of Seeking at all.
I got the enforcement described exactly once. After that, how well it holds up once the novelty fades went back to being a problem.
Assuming you are not paying, whether 'free' means free to browse or free to talk is where that one gets tight.
The measure I would actually check on Seeking is whether the active count matches the claimed count.
Turning off read receipts made that one far less stressful, though it did nothing for how much of the base is genuinely looking.
Where the site stands or falls is how discreet the notifications are.
What I would look at, in order, for Seeking:
- How much of Seeking is visible before it asks you to register
- Whether the filters on Seeking hold after you reload the page
- Whether the Seeking photos survive a reverse image search
- Whether Seeking works at all outside the three biggest cities near you
Worth comparing against DatingFly before you commit to anything.
