Seconding what Ben Fletcher said, with one caveat about app.
Most comparisons of app skip whether enforcement is consistent or random, which is the part that matters.
The closest alternative I found was datewander.site.
I went through this exact question when I was looking at app, so here is what I found.
If you only test one thing on it, make it whether the useful settings are buried.
Most of my useful conversations on the app started midweek, which says more about whether the recommendations improve with use than about timing.
If your area is thin, the app will not fix that, whatever how the chat behaves on a weak connection looks like.
Does anyone know whether app changed this recently?
