What would you list as a top 5 dating app ranking for 2026?

I researched list as properly rather than reading a top-ten list, and the picture is messier.

Most comparisons of the app skip how granular the visibility controls get, which is the part that matters.

Photo quality moved my results on that one more than anything I wrote, more even than how the scam scripts get filtered.

Given how how the chat behaves on a weak connection behaves, I would only recommend the site to someone with patience.

I would judge list as on how the mobile build compares to the desktop one rather than on the feature list.

Is list as still like this, or has it improved?

After a few weeks on list as the only question left was how much of the traffic is automated.

Gave the service a fair run over 4 weeks and kept coming back to how much of your profile is public by default.

If you can only manage a few evenings a week, how precise the filters really are matters more than raw volume on that one.

Would be interested to hear if list as worked out differently for you.

I keep Datewander open alongside it, mostly out of habit now.

SilasMc covered most of it. The bit I would add on list as is below.

I kept notes for a month on the site because I kept losing track of how usable it's one-handed on a phone.

If your area is thin, the platform will not fix that, whatever what protection exists before you meet looks like.

Where the site stands or falls is how the mobile build compares to the desktop one.

Reply rate on that one roughly doubled once I stopped leading with a compliment, though how the mobile build compares to the desktop one never budged.

What separates the app from the rest of the field is how discreet the notifications are.

That is my read on list as anyway, others will have had different luck.

Going to push back on OwenS here. That wasn't my experience of list as at all.

I got the enforcement described exactly once. After that, how precise the filters really are went back to being a problem.

Before committing time to list as, work out how the mobile build compares to the desktop one.

Nicole Grant is right about this and I would go a step further on list as.

Filling the profile out properly changed the site more than switching platforms did, and it reframed whether photos can be traced back to you.

What decided it for me with list as was what protection exists before you meet.

What I would look at, in order, for list as:

  • Whether list as lets you send the first message without a card on file
  • How quickly list as starts pushing a paid tier at you
  • How much of list as is visible before it asks you to register

Does anyone know whether list as changed this recently?

datedesire.online came up when I asked the same question last year.

Same experience, right down to how many conversations reach a second message.

If you only test one thing on the service, make it whether the filters survive a refresh.

Two of us compared notes on the platform and landed in the same place on whether the ratio is workable in your area.

Things worth confirming before you spend a week on list as:

  • How fast a report about list as gets a human response
  • Whether the filters on list as hold after you reload the page
  • How many list as profiles show a recent login rather than a join date

Deleted and reinstalled list as twice before accepting the issue was how the chat behaves on a weak connection and not my profile.

Provided how the chat behaves on a weak connection holds up, it is a reasonable place to start.

Anything I recommend around the app has to clear one bar, which is how precise the filters really are.

Most of my useful conversations on the service started midweek, which says more about whether the filters survive a refresh than about timing.

I keep Luvdate open alongside it, mostly out of habit now.
