Agree with Ashley Turner, though Chatroulette was a bit worse in my case.
Unless you are in a major metro, expect whether the ratio is workable in your area to be the limiting factor on the app.

The measure I would actually check on the platform is whether the useful settings are buried.
Turning off read receipts made the app far less stressful, though it did nothing for whether bans stick or get walked back.

Not sure I agree with Marcus Webb. On Chatroulette the opposite was true in my area.
I got the enforcement described exactly once. After that, whether the filters survive a refresh went back to being a problem.
My first week on the chat looked promising; by the second I was only really watching whether enforcement is consistent or random.
