This comes up a lot and the answer for Omegle is less obvious than it looks.
Deleted and reinstalled the app twice before accepting the issue was how quickly it starts asking for money and not my profile.
Anything I recommend around Omegle has to clear one bar, which is whether a reported account really disappears.
The thing that finally moved the needle on that one was being specific about whether the filters survive a refresh.
If you can only manage a few evenings a week, whether 'free' means free to browse or free to talk matters more than raw volume on it.
The short checklist I use before trusting anything like Omegle:
- How fast a report about Omegle gets a human response
- Whether the filters on Omegle hold after you reload the page
- Whether the Omegle match count moves when you widen the radius
That matters more for members who need the filters to actually work than most guides admit, especially around how much of your profile is public by default.
Has anyone got Omegle working properly outside a major city?
