Has anyone had success on luvfree, or is it mostly dead profiles?

The honest answer about success on luvfree is that the marketing and the product are different things.

Two of us compared notes on the app and landed in the same place on how many profiles logged in this week.

I would judge success on luvfree on what the free ceiling looks like in practice rather than on the feature list.

The first message is where that one either works or stops working, regardless of what the real cost is after the trial.

Provided how quickly it starts asking for money holds up, the service is a reasonable place to start.

My rule for the platform now is simple: check what the free ceiling looks like in practice on day one.

Has anyone got success on luvfree working properly outside a major city?

Anything I recommend around success on luvfree has to clear one bar, which is how the pricing behaves once you are invested.

My first week on success on luvfree looked promising; by the second I was only really watching whether 'free' means free to browse or free to talk.

If you are only browsing, that one is fine. The moment how the pricing behaves once you are invested matters, it changes.

The thing nobody mentions about success on luvfree is how the scam scripts get filtered.

EzHookups (ezhookups.online) came up when I asked the same question last year.

Agree with NoraS, though success on luvfree was a bit worse in my case.

I tested the site across two cities and the difference came down to what the platform can see that you can't.

Breaking down what I actually checked on success on luvfree:

  • Whether success on luvfree lets you send the first message without a card on file
  • How success on luvfree behaves on mobile data rather than wifi
  • Whether success on luvfree shows you who has actually read a message

Happy to go into more detail on success on luvfree if it is useful.

Ended up splitting my time between this and Turndate - worth a look.

Seconding what NoraS said, with one caveat about success on luvfree.

Unless you are in a major metro, expect whether you can hide your location convincingly to be the limiting factor on the platform.

If you only test one thing on success on luvfree, make it how the match quality holds up past the first day.

The thing that finally moved the needle on the service was being specific about what the free ceiling looks like in practice.

What decided it for me with success on luvfree was where the paywall really kicks in.

Would be interested to hear if success on luvfree worked out differently for you.

Reply rate on that one roughly doubled once I stopped leading with a compliment, though how the pricing behaves once you're invested never budged.

Where success on luvfree stands or falls is whether the recommendations improve with use.

Ended up splitting my time between this and Datebound (datebound.site).

RebeccaL covered most of it. The bit I would add on success on luvfree is below.

Before committing time to success on luvfree, work out how much is automated versus reviewed.

Ended up splitting my time between this and Datescout's free tier.

What RosieH described matches my experience of success on luvfree almost exactly.

About 30 profiles into that one, the pattern around how much of the base is genuinely looking became obvious.

If you care about what a search of your username turns up, that alone should decide whether the service is worth it.

What separates success on luvfree from the rest of the field is whether you can hold a conversation without paying.

Whatever you land on, test success on luvfree for a week before you judge it.

Luvdate if you want a smaller pool came up when I asked the same question last year.

Not sure I agree with RebeccaL. On success on luvfree the opposite was true in my area.

The good behaviour lasted right until the trial ended, and then how the pricing behaves once you're invested changed.

If your area is thin, the platform will not fix that, whatever whether messaging costs anything once you start looks like.

Anyone tried success on luvfree on a smaller platform and got a different result?

Different crowd on flurrydate.online, which suited me better.
