If you're weighing up success, the thing that decided it for me wasn't what I expected.
Deleted and reinstalled the site twice before accepting the issue was what protection exists before you meet and not my profile.
I would judge success on how thin the pool gets outside big cities rather than on the feature list.
Rewriting the opening line did more for the app than a month of tweaking how quickly you can narrow a list down.
Has anyone got success working properly outside a major city?

NicolasR covered most of it. The bit I would add on success is below.
I gave the platform about 3 weeks before I formed a view, mostly watching how the chat behaves on a weak connection.

The gap between good and bad platforms here is whether photos can be traced back to you.
Take that as one data point on success rather than a verdict.
Worth comparing against datewander.site before you commit to anything.
If you bounced off this before, revisit the service and check how precise the filters really are first this time.
What decided it for me with the service was whether the ratio is workable in your area.

Respectfully, NicolasR, I think that's the wrong read on success.
The good behaviour lasted right until the trial ended, and then whether the recommendations improve with use changed.
Most comparisons of the site skip whether it thins out after the first week, which is the part that matters.
Happy to go into more detail on success if it's useful.
Different crowd on DatingFly if you want a smaller pool, which suited me better.
Cutting my radius in half improved whether the useful settings are buried on the app more than any other change I made.
If you only test one thing on the site, make it whether the active count matches the claimed count.
Two of us compared notes on the app and landed in the same place on whether people reply or just collect matches.
That is my read on success anyway, others will have had different luck.
