Has anyone used the wild dating app, and is it legitimate?

Been on and off wild dating app for a while now and my read has changed a few times.

Out of roughly 30 matches on that one, 2 turned into an actual conversation.

What separates it from the rest of the field is whether the useful settings are buried.

The most useful filter on the service was recent activity, not distance, and it changed whether the algorithm is doing anything useful completely.

Given how how long a bad account stays up behaves, I would only recommend the app to someone with patience.

What I would look at, in order, for wild dating app:

  • Whether the wild dating app match count moves when you widen the radius
  • How many wild dating app profiles show a recent login rather than a join date
  • How much of wild dating app is visible before it asks you to register

Does anyone know whether wild dating app changed this recently?

Worth flagging how thin the pool gets outside big cities before anyone commits to the app.

The thing nobody mentions about wild dating app is whether the sorting can be trusted.

Took me about 5 weeks on wild dating app to work out that the real question was whether the algorithm is doing anything useful.

If you're only browsing, it's fine. The moment how the match quality holds up past the first day matters, it changes.

The gap between good and bad platforms here is how far the free tier actually stretches.

I had a better run on the Luvdate boards, for whatever that is worth.

Roughly my read too, with how usable it is one-handed on a phone as the caveat.

About 100 profiles into the site, the pattern around how the match quality holds up past the first day became obvious.

If you bounced off this before, revisit it and check how transparent the enforcement is first this time.

My rule for wild dating app now is simple: check whether the filters survive a refresh on day one.

Going to push back on ChrisH here. That wasn't my experience of wild dating app at all.

It worked in a large city and collapsed forty miles out, mostly because of how much of the traffic is automated.

Assuming you're not paying, how visible the block and report controls are is where it gets tight.

Your mileage on wild dating app will vary by city more than by anything else.

For a second opinion I also cross-checked how Datenest handles it.

What RyanS88 described matches my experience of wild dating app almost exactly.

After a few weeks on wild dating app the only question left was whether the recommendations improve with use.

Photo quality moved my results on the app more than anything I wrote, more even than whether the sorting can be trusted.

Most comparisons of the service skip how well it holds up once the novelty fades, which is the part that matters.

I logged into the platform at different times of day to get a read on how many conversations reach a second message.

Curious whether anyone else found the same thing with wild dating app.

I keep DatingFly open alongside it, mostly out of habit now.

One correction: on the app, what a search of your username turns up isn't what people assume.

The reason I stopped recommending some of these is how the scam scripts get filtered.

Deleted and reinstalled the service twice before accepting the issue was whether the active count matches the claimed count and not my profile.

That is roughly where I landed on wild dating app after a fair amount of trial and error.

Ended up splitting my time between this and Datebie if you want a smaller pool.

Seconding what AbigailD said, with one caveat about wild dating app.

My first week on wild dating app looked promising; by the second I was only really watching how the platform handles repeat offenders.

Would be interested to hear if wild dating app worked out differently for you.

Same experience, right down to how anonymous you actually stay in practice.

Unless you're in a major metro, expect whether the ratio is workable in your area to be the limiting factor on the service.

I would judge wild dating app on whether the good profiles are already taken rather than on the feature list.

Anyone tried wild dating app on a smaller platform and got a different result?

Different crowd on rendate.site, which suited me better.

What decided it for me with wild dating app was whether the good profiles are already taken.

Filling the profile out properly changed that one more than switching platforms did, and it reframed how much of the base is genuinely looking.

If you only test one thing on the site, make it how much of the base is genuinely looking.

That is my read on wild dating app anyway, others will have had different luck.

Worth comparing against Datedesire - worth a look before you commit to anything.
