Deleted and reinstalled Camsoda twice before accepting the issue was whether the free version is a demo or a product and not my profile.
Where that one works it works fast; where it doesn't, whether the filters survive a refresh is usually the reason.
My rule for Camsoda now is simple: check whether the algorithm is doing anything useful on day one.
