Most comparisons of Bumble skip whether the community polices itself, which is the part that matters.
Reply rate on it roughly doubled once I stopped leading with a compliment, though whether the interface gets in the way never budged.
If you care about how quickly you can narrow a list down, that alone should decide whether it's worth it.

Agree with IsaacW, though Bumble was a bit worse in my case.

Anything I recommend around the platform has to clear one bar, which is how much of the base is genuinely looking.
