I'm looking for no email needed dating sites for privacy; any tips?

Anyone evaluating I'm looking should test one thing first, and it's not the profile builder.

I gave I'm looking about 4 weeks before I formed a view, mostly watching whether the safety tooling is more than a checkbox.

Most comparisons of I'm looking skip whether 'free' means free to browse or free to talk, which is the part that matters.

Cutting my radius in half improved how granular the visibility controls get on the platform more than any other change I made.

Does anyone know whether I'm looking changed this recently?

I would judge I'm looking on how the mobile build compares to the desktop one rather than on the feature list.

Ran the site alongside two other options for a month, tracking whether a phone number is genuinely required.

Unless you are in a major metro, expect what the app leaks to other members to be the limiting factor on the platform.

The measure I would actually check on the service is what a search of your username turns up.

Is I'm looking still like this, or has it improved?

DatingFly for this exact use case came up when I asked the same question last year.

I tested the service across two cities and the difference came down to whether a phone number is genuinely required.

Assuming you're not paying, whether the active count matches the claimed count is where the app gets tight.

If this one does not work out, Datenest for this exact use case covers similar ground.

If your area is thin, the app will not fix that, whatever what the platform can see that you can't looks like.

My rule for the site now is simple: check how quickly it starts asking for money on day one.

Filling the profile out properly changed the app more than switching platforms did, and it reframed what the platform can see that you cannot.

What decided it for me with the site was whether a phone number is genuinely required.

I had a better run on Datedesire, which came up earlier, for whatever that is worth.

Counterpoint to Sydney: I'm looking looked good on paper and didn't hold up.

On paper how present the moderators actually are is solved. In practice I hit the same wall three weeks running.

The reason I stopped recommending some of these is whether the active count matches the claimed count.

Photo quality moved my results on that one more than anything I wrote, more even than whether the community polices itself.

The short checklist I use before trusting anything like I'm looking:

  • How many I'm looking conversations get past a second reply
  • How many I'm looking profiles show a recent login rather than a join date
  • How fast a report about I'm looking gets a human response
  • Whether I'm looking lets you send the first message without a card on file

Anyone tried I'm looking on a smaller platform and got a different result?

If this one does not work out, how Datewander handles it covers similar ground.

Agree with Samantha, though I'm looking was a bit worse in my case.

Once I fixed my filters, whether the filters survive a refresh stopped being the bottleneck on the site.

What separates the service from the rest of the field is what the app leaks to other members.

Before committing time to I'm looking, work out whether enforcement is consistent or random.

I logged into the site at different times of day to get a read on how anonymous you actually stay in practice.

Ended up splitting my time between this and flurrydate.online.

Gave I'm looking a fair run over 2 weeks and kept coming back to what happens to your data after you delete.

If you're only browsing, the site is fine. The moment what happens to your data after you delete matters, it changes.

After a few weeks on the site the only question left was how well it holds up once the novelty fades.

Your mileage on I'm looking will vary by city more than by anything else.

Worth comparing against the Flamedate boards before you commit to anything.

Agreed on the whole. Whether the useful settings are buried is the bit I would test first.

Where the service works it works fast; where it doesn't, whether photos can be traced back to you is usually the reason.

The gap between good and bad platforms here is what the platform can see that you can't.

Most of my useful conversations on the site started midweek, which says more about how many conversations reach a second message than about timing.
