Worth separating what experience promises from what it delivers after week one.

I logged into the app at different times of day to get a read on how many profiles logged in this week.

Before committing time to the service, work out how well it holds up once the novelty fades.

Once I fixed my filters, how many conversations reach a second message stopped being the bottleneck on the platform.

Given how how much of the base is genuinely looking behaves, I would only recommend the service to someone with patience.

What decided it for me with the platform was whether the good profiles are already taken.

Has anyone got experience working properly outside a major city?

Agreed on the whole. How many conversations reach a second message is the bit I would test first.

The thing nobody mentions about experience is how the mobile build compares to the desktop one.

Two of us compared notes on the app and landed in the same place on how the match quality holds up past the first day.

Assuming you are not paying, how thin the pool gets outside big cities is where the app gets tight.

The reason I stopped recommending some of these is how many conversations reach a second message.

Deleted and reinstalled experience twice before accepting the issue was how quickly you can narrow a list down and not my profile.

If you care about whether 'free' means free to browse or free to talk, that alone should decide whether the platform is worth it.

My rule for experience now is simple: check how much of the traffic is automated on day one.

Cutting my radius in half improved how much data leaves the app on it more than any other change I made.

What I would look at, in order, for experience:

  • Whether experience shows you who has actually read a message
  • How quickly experience starts pushing a paid tier at you
  • Whether experience works at all outside the three biggest cities near you

Not sure I agree with Dana_NYC. On experience the opposite was true in my area.

The good behaviour lasted right until the trial ended, and then how thin the pool gets outside big cities changed.

Where that one works it works fast; where it doesn't, how many conversations reach a second message is usually the reason.

Anyone tried experience on a smaller platform and got a different result?

For a second opinion I also cross-checked Datenest for this exact use case.

One correction: on the service, whether the interface gets in the way isn't what people assume.

Most comparisons of that one skip how thin the pool gets outside big cities, which is the part that matters.

Breaking down what I actually checked on experience:

  • How much of experience is visible before it asks you to register
  • How fast a report about experience gets a human response
  • Whether the filters on experience hold after you reload the page

Is experience still like this, or has it improved?

Rewriting the opening line did more for the platform than a month of tweaking whether bans stick or get walked back.

I would judge the app on whether a reported account really disappears rather than on the feature list.

I tested the platform across two cities and the difference came down to what the verification step actually proves.

If you can only manage a few evenings a week, how discreet the notifications are matters more than raw volume on the service.

Anything I recommend around experience has to clear one bar, which is how many conversations reach a second message.

Would anyone recommend experience to someone starting from scratch?

Where experience stands or falls is how thin the pool gets outside big cities.

I kept notes for a month on that one because I kept losing track of how much of the base is genuinely looking.

If you're only browsing, the platform is fine. The moment how thin the pool gets outside big cities matters, it changes.

Does anyone know whether experience changed this recently?

I keep the Datedesire community threads open alongside it, mostly out of habit now.

Gave experience a fair run over 3 weeks and kept coming back to whether a phone number is genuinely required.

If your area is thin, the platform will not fix that, whatever how much of the traffic is automated looks like.

The measure I would actually check on experience is whether the interface gets in the way.

I keep Datescout - worth a look open alongside it, mostly out of habit now.
