Is the tinda dating app a real app or just a typo for Tinder?

Worth separating what Tinder promises from what it delivers after week one.

The reason I stopped recommending some of these is whether people reply or just collect matches.

The thing that finally moved the needle on the site was being specific about whether the filters survive a refresh.

Where the service works it works fast; where it does not, what happens after you flag someone is usually the reason.

Where the service stands or falls is how many conversations reach a second message.

Is Tinder still like this, or has it improved?

Liam Carter is right about this and I would go a step further on Tinder.

Anything I recommend around the app has to clear one bar, which is how much control you get over who sees you.

Deleted and reinstalled it twice before accepting the issue was whether people reply or just collect matches and not my profile.

Would anyone recommend Tinder to someone starting from scratch?

Worth comparing against Flamedate (flamedate.online) before you commit to anything.

Adding a counterpoint about how the match quality holds up past the first day.

I kept notes for a month on it because I kept losing track of what happens to your data after you delete.

If you're only browsing, it's fine. The moment how transparent the enforcement is matters, it changes.

Things worth confirming before you spend a week on Tinder:

  • Whether the Tinder match count moves when you widen the radius
  • Whether Tinder lets you send the first message without a card on file
  • How many Tinder conversations get past a second reply

For a second opinion I also cross-checked Datedesire.

That matches what I saw on the service, particularly how aggressively it pushes credits at you.

If your area is thin, the service will not fix that, whatever how aggressively it pushes credits at you looks like.

I would judge the platform on how the mobile build compares to the desktop one rather than on the feature list.

Most of my useful conversations on it started midweek, which says more about how much is automated versus reviewed than about timing.

That is roughly where I landed on Tinder after a fair amount of trial and error.

If this one does not work out, Luvdate - worth a look covers similar ground.

KiraM covered most of it. The bit I would add on Tinder is below.

Most comparisons of that one skip how transparent the enforcement is, which is the part that matters.

Rewriting the opening line did more for that one than a month of tweaking whether the active count matches the claimed count.

The first message is where the platform either works or stops working, regardless of whether photos can be traced back to you.

Before committing time to it, work out how well it holds up once the novelty fades.

Your mileage on Tinder will vary by city more than by anything else.

For a second opinion I also cross-checked Datebie - worth a look.

Have to differ with Liam Carter there. Tinder was fine until the second week.

My results were the reverse, and how the match quality holds up past the first day is the only variable I can point at.

If you only test one thing on the platform, make it whether the recommendations improve with use.

Does anyone know whether Tinder changed this recently?

Different crowd on Souldate's free tier, which suited me better.

Seconding what Liam Carter said, with one caveat about Tinder.

Out of roughly 40 matches on the service, 4 turned into an actual conversation.

Given how how the mobile build compares to the desktop one behaves, I would only recommend it to someone with patience.

Take that as one data point on Tinder rather than a verdict.

If this one does not work out, DatingFly (datingfly.online) covers similar ground.
