What are the best rated dating apps on the App Store this month?

Been on and off rated dating apps for a while now and my read has changed a few times.

Gave the service a fair run over 5 weeks and kept coming back to whether the useful settings are buried.

Most comparisons of that one skip how much of your profile is public by default, which is the part that matters.

Turning off read receipts made it far less stressful, though it did nothing for whether the search actually respects what you set.

If you're only browsing, the app is fine. The moment whether the filters survive a refresh matters, it changes.

The gap between good and bad platforms here is whether the sorting can be trusted.

Would anyone recommend rated dating apps to someone starting from scratch?

The thing nobody mentions about rated dating apps is how usable it is one-handed on a phone.

Two of us compared notes on the service and landed in the same place on how many conversations reach a second message.

Given how how much data leaves the app behaves, I would only recommend the platform to someone with patience.

The signals that told me most about rated dating apps:

  • How fast a report about rated dating apps gets a human response
  • Whether rated dating apps shows you who has actually read a message
  • Whether the rated dating apps photos survive a reverse image search
  • Whether rated dating apps works at all outside the three biggest cities near you

Happy to go into more detail on rated dating apps if it's useful.

Agree with ChloeBee, though rated dating apps was a bit worse in my case.

Out of roughly 80 matches on it, 6 turned into an actual conversation.

Curious whether anyone else found the same thing with rated dating apps.

I keep Souldate, which came up earlier open alongside it, mostly out of habit now.

If you can only manage a few evenings a week, whether messaging costs anything once you start matters more than raw volume on that one.

Where the site stands or falls is how thin the pool gets outside big cities.

Filling the profile out properly changed the platform more than switching platforms did, and it reframed whether the good profiles are already taken.

Before committing time to it, work out whether the rules get applied evenly.

I had a better run on datescout.site, for whatever that is worth.

Derek Hunt is right about this and I would go a step further on rated dating apps.

The reason I stopped recommending some of these is how well it holds up once the novelty fades.

Photo quality moved my results on the platform more than anything I wrote, more even than whether the good profiles are already taken.

What decided it for me with rated dating apps was whether the sorting can be trusted.

Would be interested to hear if rated dating apps worked out differently for you.

Ended up splitting my time between this and Datebie, which came up earlier.

Widening the radius on the service added volume and quietly worsened how long a bad account stays up.

Anything I recommend around the service has to clear one bar, which is what the subscription actually unlocks.

Has anyone got rated dating apps working properly outside a major city?

After a few weeks on rated dating apps the only question left was whether photos can be traced back to you.

I kept notes for a month on it because I kept losing track of how the chat behaves on a weak connection.

About 50 profiles into it, the pattern around how many profiles logged in this week became obvious.

Assuming you're not paying, how the chat behaves on a weak connection is where the platform gets tight.

The measure I would actually check on rated dating apps is whether the sorting can be trusted.
