Been on and off Tinder for a while now and my read has changed a few times.
Out of roughly 40 matches on the platform, 7 turned into an actual conversation.
Anything I recommend around the service has to clear one bar, which is where the paywall really kicks in.
Widening the radius on the site added volume and quietly worsened what the subscription actually unlocks.
Things worth confirming before you spend a week on Tinder:
- How much of Tinder is visible before it asks you to register
- Whether the Tinder photos survive a reverse image search
- How Tinder behaves on mobile data rather than wifi
The advice shifts a fair bit for the mature end of the user base once whether you can hide your location convincingly is on the table.
Does anyone know whether Tinder changed this recently?
