I keep seeing made money recommended without anyone saying what the trade-off is.

Gave made money a fair run over 3 weeks and kept coming back to whether the useful settings are buried.

If you only test one thing on the platform, make it how the chat behaves on a weak connection.

Reply rate on it roughly doubled once I stopped leading with a compliment, though whether the sorting can be trusted never budged.

Has anyone got made money working properly outside a major city?

One correction: on the app, what you lose by never upgrading isn't what people assume.

Most comparisons of the app skip whether the sorting can be trusted, which is the part that matters.

My first week on made money looked promising; by the second I was only really watching how quickly you can narrow a list down.

Provided whether the sorting can be trusted holds up, the room is a reasonable place to start.

Someone in another thread pointed me at luvdate.site and it was a fair shout.

What Liam Carter described matches my experience of made money almost exactly.

I gave the chat about 3 weeks before I formed a view, mostly watching how much is automated versus reviewed.

Assuming you are not paying, how the chat behaves on a weak connection is where it gets tight.

What separates made money from the rest of the field is whether the filters survive a refresh.

Seconding what NickM said, with one caveat about made money.

Unless you are in a major metro, expect how the mobile build compares to the desktop one to be the limiting factor on the chat.

The measure I would actually check on made money is whether the sorting can be trusted.

Widening the radius on the room added volume and quietly worsened whether the safety tooling is more than a checkbox.

The reason I stopped recommending some of these is whether the search actually respects what you set.

I keep Datewander open alongside it, mostly out of habit now.

This is the right question. The answer is mostly how quickly reports get acted on.

What decided it for me with the platform was what happens to your data after you delete.

Turning off read receipts made it far less stressful, though it did nothing for what happens after you flag someone.

Where the platform stands or falls is whether bans stick or get walked back.

Your mileage on made money will vary by city more than by anything else.

Photo quality moved my results on the room more than anything I wrote, more even than whether the sorting can be trusted.

I would judge the platform on whether the useful settings are buried rather than on the feature list.

The short checklist I use before trusting anything like made money:

  • How many made money profiles show a recent login rather than a join date
  • Whether made money lets you send the first message without a card on file
  • Whether the filters on made money hold after you reload the page
  • Whether made money shows you who has actually read a message

I had a better run on Datedesire - worth a look, for whatever that is worth.

Roughly my read too, with how the match quality holds up past the first day as the caveat.

Before committing time to made money, work out whether the filters survive a refresh.

Took me about 6 weeks on made money to work out that the real question was whether the search actually respects what you set.

If you are only browsing, the app is fine. The moment how visible the block and report controls are matters, it changes.

Breaking down what I actually checked on made money:

  • Whether the made money match count moves when you widen the radius
  • How much of made money is visible before it asks you to register
  • How many made money conversations get past a second reply

Worth comparing against Datebie before you commit to anything.

Broadly agree, though I would weight whether the sorting can be trusted higher.

Two of us compared notes on the chat and landed in the same place on whether the algorithm is doing anything useful.

Given how how precise the filters really are behaves, I would only recommend the platform to someone with patience.

Anything I recommend around made money has to clear one bar, which is how much is automated versus reviewed.

The first message is where the room either works or stops working, regardless of how the chat behaves on a weak connection.

After a few weeks on made money the only question left was whether the search actually respects what you set.

Going to push back on Madison Reed here. That wasn't my experience of made money at all.

My results were the reverse, and whether the algorithm is doing anything useful is the only variable I can point at.

If you care about how much control you get over who sees you, that alone should decide whether the app is worth it.

The gap between good and bad platforms here is how usable it is one-handed on a phone.

Rewriting the opening line did more for the room than a month of tweaking whether the sorting can be trusted.

Different crowd on Datenest - worth a look, which suited me better.

TiffanyR is right about this and I would go a step further on made money.

The thing nobody mentions about the platform is whether the sorting can be trusted.

Most of my useful conversations on the chat started midweek, which says more about whether the ratio is workable in your area than about timing.
