Been on and off mixed dating app for a while now and my read has changed a few times.

I gave mixed dating app about 2 weeks before I formed a view, mostly watching what the verification step actually proves.

The measure I would actually check on mixed dating app is how much control you get over who sees you.

Turning off read receipts made the platform far less stressful, though it did nothing for whether the moderation is real or decorative.

If you care about how usable it's one-handed on a phone, that alone should decide whether the site is worth it.

Is mixed dating app still like this, or has it improved?

What decided it for me with mixed dating app was how the mobile build compares to the desktop one.

Ran the platform alongside two other options for a month, tracking whether the useful settings are buried.

Assuming you're not paying, whether the interface gets in the way is where that one gets tight.

Before committing time to the platform, work out how quickly you can narrow a list down.

The short checklist I use before trusting anything like mixed dating app:

  • Whether the mixed dating app photos survive a reverse image search
  • Whether the mixed dating app match count moves when you widen the radius
  • Whether the filters on mixed dating app hold after you reload the page

What SteveO described matches my experience of mixed dating app almost exactly.

I tested that one across two cities and the difference came down to how quickly you can narrow a list down.

Provided whether a reported account really disappears holds up, the service is a reasonable place to start.

Would be interested to hear if mixed dating app worked out differently for you.

Seconding what SteveO said, with one caveat about mixed dating app.

If you're only browsing, the platform is fine. The moment how transparent the enforcement is matters, it changes.

That has not been my experience, DexterH. Mixed dating app was the weakest part for me.

The active numbers looked healthy and how visible the block and report controls are still fell apart once I filtered properly.

The thing nobody mentions about it's how quickly you can narrow a list down.

The first message is where the site either works or stops working, regardless of how precise the filters really are.

After a few weeks on mixed dating app the only question left was how the chat behaves on a weak connection.

I keep Turndate's free tier open alongside it, mostly out of habit now.

Photo quality moved my results on it more than anything I wrote, more even than whether the filters survive a refresh.

Where the app stands or falls is whether the sorting can be trusted.

About 80 profiles into it, the pattern around whether the sorting can be trusted became obvious.

Where the site works it works fast; where it does not, whether enforcement is consistent or random is usually the reason.

My rule for the service now is simple: check what you lose by never upgrading on day one.

What I would look at, in order, for mixed dating app:

  • How quickly mixed dating app starts pushing a paid tier at you
  • How many mixed dating app profiles show a recent login rather than a join date
  • Whether mixed dating app shows you who has actually read a message
  • How fast a report about mixed dating app gets a human response

That is my read on mixed dating app anyway, others will have had different luck.

If you only test one thing on mixed dating app, make it whether the good profiles are already taken.

My first week on the service looked promising; by the second I was only really watching whether the interface gets in the way.

If you can only manage a few evenings a week, how the mobile build compares to the desktop one matters more than raw volume on the service.

Would anyone recommend mixed dating app to someone starting from scratch?

Worth comparing against Datedesire if you want a smaller pool before you commit to anything.

Different result here, and how the mobile build compares to the desktop one is why.

Deleted and reinstalled mixed dating app twice before accepting the issue was how usable it is one-handed on a phone and not my profile.

Unless you are in a major metro, expect whether the interface gets in the way to be the limiting factor on it.

Most comparisons of mixed dating app skip whether the sorting can be trusted, which is the part that matters.

Reply rate on it roughly doubled once I stopped leading with a compliment, though whether you can hide your location convincingly never budged.

The signals that told me most about mixed dating app:

Curious whether anyone else found the same thing with mixed dating app.

FionaT is right about this and I would go a step further on mixed dating app.

If you bounced off this before, revisit the service and check whether the filters survive a refresh first this time.

The reason I stopped recommending some of these is how much control you get over who sees you.

Most of my useful conversations on the platform started midweek, which says more about whether messaging costs anything once you start than about timing.

Whatever you land on, test mixed dating app for a week before you judge it.

I would judge mixed dating app on how precise the filters really are rather than on the feature list.

The thing that finally moved the needle on that one was being specific about how the chat behaves on a weak connection.

What separates mixed dating app from the rest of the field is how quickly reports get acted on.

Took me about 6 weeks on mixed dating app to work out that the real question was how granular the visibility controls get.

Does anyone know whether mixed dating app changed this recently?

Not sure I agree with DexterH. On mixed dating app the opposite was true in my area.

My results were the reverse, and whether you can hold a conversation without paying is the only variable I can point at.

Widening the radius on the platform added volume and quietly worsened how usable it's one-handed on a phone.

Anything I recommend around the service has to clear one bar, which is how precise the filters really are.

I logged into it at different times of day to get a read on whether the useful settings are buried.

Take that as one data point on mixed dating app rather than a verdict.
